(For Experienced Front Office FIX Support)

• Must Have In-Depth Knowledge of FIX Messaging Protocol
• Must Have Exposure To Development And Support of Equities Trading Apps
• Experience of Fidessa, GL Trade Beneficial

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for all the IT systems in the front office. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To assure the safe operation of all trading systems, HK Exchange and FIX connectivity in the front office
• To coordinate with Exchange in different projects
• To ensure the High Availability and BCP of our production Trading systems
• To perform system health checking, monitoring & testing
• To perform analysis, development, testing and implementation of new client connections
• To provide daily trading system support on any issues reported, and resolves the issues by closely working with traders and vendor

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure to development and support of Equities Trading Applications, and electronic Exchange connectivity, and FIX client connectivity and DMA
• Practical & hands on experience in Front Desk Support in sizable Securities Brokerage/ Trading company
• In-depth knowledge of FIX messaging protocol from client and exchange perspective and be able to conduct client testing.
• Experience in maintaining Vendor FIX server (E.g. Cameron FIX, NYFIX, ULLink etc.)
• Strong knowledge and skills of System program on Windows, UNIX platform, and SQL relational database. Preferable to have VB, C, Java, Excel Macro development experience.
• Able to work under high pressure and long hour
• A proactive and lateral thinker who can tackle problem within short period of time
• With Knowledge & hands on support experience of multiple exchange trading operation and Derivative product is highly preferred
• Experience in supporting Vendor Trading & Market Data system is preferable (e.g. GL Trade, Fidessa ; Bloomberg, Reuters etc.)
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
